He was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church under the leadership of Minister Mary Helen Reece Walker.

Left to cherish his wonderful memories: A loving & devoted wife of almost 56 years Evelyn, son, Percy Jr (Mary).Daughters: Rose, Mary Helen (James),Shelia (Dennis),and Marcie(Brandon).17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. 1 sister, Erma. 2 brothers: Oliver (Stella) and Bull. Special niece Theresa and special grandson Quenten, a host of other relatives and friends.
