Collin was the son of county pioneers,Julia Ann Jackson & Loammi G Baldwin. He lived in the Stockton area all his life, in his last home for more than 50 years. He enjoyed card parties and the occasional dance. Collin was beaten & murdered in his home for his $15 monthly pension check. He's buried in the family plot, although there is no marker.
