NATIVE ALABAMIAN, 87, MRS. DAWKINS IS DEAD. Funeral services were held Sunday for Mrs. R. M. Dawkins, who died Saturday at the home of her daughter Mrs. T. F. McReynolds at Vernon, Alabama. She had suffered a stroke of paralysis in December and had been declining since.
Mrs. Dawkins was in her 88th year and was a native of Alabama.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. T. F. McReynolds of Vernon, and Mrs. T. M. Wooten, of Tuscaloosa. There are also 13 grand children and 37 great grand children.
Funeral services were from Macedonia church, near Millport, of which she was a member. (end)

Gravesite Details
An old list of Macedonia burials in the Columbus-Lowndes Library (MS) doesn't include Rebecca M Dawkins. No monument has been found for her.
