The funeral service for Alfred Adams, (1939-1964) Hicksville, who died at Mamie, N.C., Oct. 18, after a brief illness, will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Boyds Memorial Chapel.
A native of Bostwick, he had lived there and in Palatka, where he attended Central Academy High School. He was a veteran of the Army.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Flowers. Interment will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery with D. A. Boyd & Sons Funeral Home in charge.
Friends may call at the Chapel Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 9 until the hour of the services.
Survivors are daughter, Viola Adams, Crescent City; mother, Mrs. Lou XXX Boyd Adams, Palatka; sisters, Mrs. Eloise Adams of Vero Beach, Mrs. Rosa Lee Oneal of Palatka, Miss Willie Lee Adams of Savannah, Ga., Mrs. Lucretia Hutchinson, Miss Betty J.
