Melba D. Mickle
Melba D. Mickle, 74, formerly of Half Moon Bay, Calif., died Nov. 30, 1992 at the Beaver Dam Care Center.
A memorial service was held today at the Beaver Dam Care Center at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Mike Tomko officiating. Burial will be in Littleton Cemetery in Mulvane, Kansas.
Mrs. Mickle was born Oct. 18, 1928 at Kinder, La., the daughter of George and Georgia (Gilley) Corkran. She married Sidney L. Mickle on July 31, 1936.
She resided most of her life in the South and the Midwest, was a homemaker and held a real estate license in New York. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include one daughter, Colleen (Brian) Holden, Ithaca, N.Y.; one son, Sidney (Nancy) Mickle Jr., St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Bertha Nixon, Nederland, Texas; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two daughters, Sonia Darlene Mickle; and Judy Maureen, in infancy.
Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam was in charge of the arrangements.
