D. MARK REED, 79, Indianapolis, died March 22. Before retiring, he was a pharmacist for 50 years, working for Delbo, Tucker and Preacher drug stores. Previously, he owned Reed Pharmacy, Russiaville. Mr. Reed was a member of the Knights of Columbus Fatima Council and American Legion Celtic Post. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a graduate of Butler University. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association. Services: March 26 at 9:30 a.m. in Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary and at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, of which he was a member. Calling: 3 to 8 p.m. March 25 in the mortuary. Entombment: Calvary Cemetery, Survivors: wife Marilyn Brackett Reed; children Sandra K. Duvall, Mark L. "Pete," D. Stephen, Gregory C., Christopher P. Reed; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
