John Komoroske Sr., 72, pioneer Town of Two Creek farmer, died Thursday afternoon at the Municipal hospital at Two Rivers where he had been a patient since April 17 when he was hurt in a highway accident. Komoroske and his son, Thomas, were injured on Highway 42, about three and one-half miles south of Two Creeks when the lime spreader they were riding was hit by a truck driven by Carl Lenhart of Two Rivers. The elder Komoroske suffered severe chest injuries and shoulder bruises, while the son had a large piece of flesh torn from one of his legs. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the residence and at 10 o'clock from Sacred Heart Catholic church at Two Rivers. The Rev. Joseph Gabryszek will officiate and interment will be in Holy Cross cemetery. Mr. Komoroske was born in Poland in 1868 (sic) and came to this country with his parents when he was three years old. The family came directly to this vicinity and settled in the town of Two Creeks. John spent the remainder of his life there. Forty-one years ago he married Miss Hattie Wyszynski. Mr. Komoroske was a member of the Holy Name society of Sacred Heart church. Survivors are the widow; six sons, Dr. John Komoroske of Hammond, Ind., George of Gibson, Dr. Frank Komoroske of Algoma, Joseph of Two Rivers, Thomas and Alois at home; one brother, Albert of Milwaukee; and four grandchildren. The body was removed to the Jansky funeral home here where it may be viewed until Saturday afternoon at which time it will be taken to the home on Mishicot route 1. Friends and relatives will recite the rosary at the home Sunday evening at 8 o'clock.
