AIME Jr., Lawrence Paul - - - Died at 8:05 a.m. Thursday, May 23 1985, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Gonzales. He was 81, a native of Head of Island and resident of Sorrento. He was a retired millwright and former owner of Canal Bank Inn. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, Gonzales, 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Tom Ranzino. Entombment in Hope Haven Mausoleum. Survived by three daughters, Fay Murray, Ponchatoula, Gay Hutchinson, Brownsville, Texas and Ruby Merino, El Paso, Texas; six sisters, Mrs Eva Letulle, Sorrento, Mrs Herman (Jeanette) Dunnham, Gonzales, Mrs Grace Cannon, Galvez, Mrs Winnie Poche, Gonzales, Mrs Lise Schillings, Head of Island and Mrs Emma Moran, Manchac; three brothers, Johnny and Emile Aime, both of Sorrento, and Dennis Aime, Westwego; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Adele LeBlanc Aime, a daughter, Verna Mae Aime; parents Lawrence Paul Aime Sr. and Mary Brown Aime; three sisters and a brother. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.
