Humphreys, Harry N. - Funeral Services for Harry N. Humphreys, a retired executive with the Baltimore Life Insurance Company, will be held at 2 PM tomorrow at the Jenkins funeral establishment, 4905 York road. Mr. Humphreys, 66, died Thursday night after a heart attack while playing bridge, his favorite game, at the YMCA branch at the Alameda and 35th street. He lived at 1513 Kingsway road. When Mr. Humphreys retired in 1965 he was director of agency records and assistant secretary of the insurance company. He had been with Baltimore Life for 42 years, starting as an assistant auditor. Mr. Humphreys, who was treasurer of the Maryland Bridge League, had accumulated almost enough points to earn the rank of life master. He played frequently in bridge tournaments in Baltimore and other cities. Mr. Humphreys was active in the affairs of his church, Faith and St. Mark's United Church of Christ. He was president of the Men's Fellowship. He also did volunteer work with the poor. He helped obtain jobs and clothing for them. He was past president of Brehms Lane Elementary School's Parent-Teacher Association. Mr. Humphreys is survived by his wife, the former Helen Finke; a brother, Lee B. Humphreys, of Baltimore; two sons, H. Nelson Humphreys, of San Francisco; and John E. Humphreys, of Baltimore; and four grandchildren.
