Misty Leeanne Lafary Foster, 24, of Columbus, Indiana, passed from this life unexpectedly on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Morgan County.

She was the daughter of John Thomas "Bucky" and Tanya Annette (Davis) Lafary; born on November 12, 1988 in Martinsville, Indiana. Misty lived most of her life in Morgan County and graduated in 2007 from Indian Creek High School. She had also attended IUPUC and had recently begun working at Day Nursery in Indianapolis as a preschool teacher. She had planned to continue her education to attain her degree in early childcare and education. She was a member of the Church of the Firstborn in Owen County. Misty loved to cook, swim, sing karaoke, ride 4-wheelers, listen to country music and have family get-togethers. Her most treasured times were spent with her two year old son, Shawn Michael.

Misty will be deeply missed by her family and friends including her husband, Dustin Bradley Foster, and son, Shawn Michael Foster, both of Columbus; father, John "Bucky" Lafary of Morgantown; brothers, John Lafary, Jr. and Jack Lafary both of Morgantown; grandparents; Dixie Lafary of Morgantown and Jack & Doris Davis of Spencer; in-laws, Barbara & Bill Griffiths of Columbus; aunts & uncles, Todd & Jodie Eden of Spencer, Dave & Wendy Conner of Martinsville and Wanda Kaiser of Indianapolis and cousins, Andy & Crystal Parmerlee, Brandon & Brandie Eden and Jessica Kaiser.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Tanya (Davis) Lafary and paternal grandfather, John Lafary.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, June 5th from 6-8:00 p.m. at Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center in Martinsville. Brother Mike Day and Pastor Burt Brock will co-officiate a graveside service celebrating her life on Thursday, June 6th beginning at 12 Noon in Olive Cemetery in Paragon, Indiana.
