She was born Feb. 27, 1927, in Sugar Grove to John and Mary (Maxey) McKeen.
She worked in the meat department of several different grocery stores. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Booneville and VFW auxiliary and was a volunteer at the Booneville Human Development Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carmon Ferrell; one daughter, Mary Smith; two sisters, Pearl Grimes and Jewell Coy; and two brothers, John Robert McKeen and Lawrence McKeen.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home in Booneville.
She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Davis of Hot Springs; two sons; John Wagoner and wife Marsha of Crestview, Fla., and James Wagoner and wife Edna of Fort Smith; one sister, Bertha Reid of Fort Smith; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
