MOSS POINT -- Ida Montile Hyatt McLeod, 76, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, in Moss Point.

Mrs. McLeod had been a resident of Jackson County most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mae Hyatt; and two sisters, Judie Loper and Meady Freeman.

Survivors include three daughters, Bonnie Bowman of Gulfport, Alberta Mizell of Lucedale and Velma Martin of Pascagoula; two sons, Albert ''Buddy'' McLeod of Centreville, La., and Horace ''Cricket'' McLeod of Helena; a stepson, Tommy Loper of Escatawpa; a sister, Sarah Havard of Lucedale; two brothers, Rev. James Hyatt of Gulfport and Wesley Hyatt of Lucedale; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 until at the Church of God of Prophecy, 5624 Grierson St., Moss Point. A service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church with burial in Union Cemetery in Moss Point. Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point is in charge of arrangements.
