Russell R. Allen, 65, 10271 Barton Road, Waterford, died at Saint Vincent Health Center. He was born in Greene Twp. Aug. 17, 1915 a son of the late Willard and Edith Evans Allen. He was a lifelong resident of Greene Twp. He had been a watchman at the Reed Manufacturing Co. retiring in 1980 with 28 years of service. He was a member of St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, the Kuhl Hose Co., and was a special deputy Erie County Sheriff.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Allen and four brothers, Leonard Allen, Bernard Allen, Gaylord Allen and Cleno Allen.
He was survived by his wife, Florence J. Sklarzewski Allen; and three sons, Edward Allen, Roger Allen, and Ronald Allen, all at home.
Russel C. Schmidt an Son Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave. handled arrangements. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Boniface Church. Burial in Wales Cemetery.
