Services for Kenneth R. Burks, 63, Troup, are pending with Cottle Funeral Home in Troup. Mr. Burks died Tuesday at a Troup residence. He was bprn Jan. 15, 1921, in Farmersville, and had been a longtime Troup area resident. Employed by General Refractories in Troup, he attended a Pentecostal church, and served in the military in WorldWar II. Survivors include three sons, Wayne Burks, Billy Burks and Rt y Burks, all of Troup; a daughter, Marie Swinriey, Arp; a brother, Arnold Jackson Burks, Troup; a sister, Shirley Roscoe, Dallas; seven grandchildren; and ; four great-grandchildren.
