Frank Herbst, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Herbst, near Potosi, died in the West Side Sanitarium, today at 12:30 am of appendicitis. He had undergone an operation at that institution, where he had been a patient for the last week. He was 32 years, 9 months and 15 days old. The body was brought to his parents' home this afternoon by Undertaker N. J. Leader, Jacobus. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 am. After brief services at the house the funeral party will proceed to the Reformed Church, at Shrewsbury, where concluding services will be held. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
According to the death certificate, Frank died at home in Springfield Township.
