Mrs. Ila Kerschner, 43 4404 Sovereign Blvd., died at 8 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, 1962, in Swedish-American Hospital after a long illness.
Born July 12, 1919, in Platteville, Wis. Lived 29 years in Rockford, coming here from Platteville, Wis. Married to Fayne E. Kerschner in Dubuque, Iowa, April 5, 1934. Employed as head sales lady by Reserve Life Insurance Co. for 10 years. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include: her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Menor, Rockford; a son, William Kerschner, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Van Natta, Lancaster, Wis., Mrs. Dorothy Bisback, Platteville, Wis., and Mrs. Laura Williams, Prairie du Chien, Wis.; three brothers, Kenneth Louthain, Platteville, Wis., Orville Louthain, Beetown, Wis., and Louis Louthain, Galena; several nieces and nephews; three half sisters, and one half brother; a granddaughter, and two grandsons.
Services at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Wilbur Christenson Funeral Home. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery.
