Services were held today at Ben F. Brown Funeral Home in Irving for Claudia Marcella Blackmon, who died Sunday in Garland Memorial Hospital. She was 53 years of age.
Mrs. Blackmon was born in O'Donnell, Texas and was a Garland resident 5 years before her death.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Lola O'Neil of Clyde, Texas, sons Aubrey of Garland and Roy Blackmon of Midland; daughters Juanita Blake of Seminole; Sandra King of Irving; brothers Charles McRae of Irving; Cecil McRae of West Virginia; Buster McRae of Abilene; and Billy McRae of Clarksville, Tenn; Valton McRae of CLyde; sister Mrs. Clogene Cox of Clyde; 18 grandchildren.
Services were at 3 p.m. at Ben F. Brown Chapel with Rev. Charles Moore officiating. Internment is at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
