Walter J. Bayliss, Jr., 56 Walter J. Bayliss, Jr., 56, of Newark, DE, died Sunday June 2, 2013 in the Christiana Hospital, Wilmington, DE. Born in Darby, PA, he was resident of Newark for the past 20 years coming from Ridley Twp. Walt was an avid sports fan and coached basketball and baseball for the CYO. He also was a member of C.A.A.
and was a head umpire for the Babe Ruth little league. Walt enjoyed horse racing and was a good handicapper. He was a Courier, employed by MBNA. Predeceased by his mother Rita (nee Massi) Bayliss. Survivors: His wife: Laura Mae (nee Musho) Bayliss; son: Kevin Bayliss; Father: Walter J. Bayliss, Sr.; Brother: Michael (Donna) Bayliss; 5 Nieces and 1 Nephew.
Memorial Mass: Saturday, 10:30 am, at Notre Dame De Lourdes Church, Fairview Rd. & Michigan Ave., Swarthmore. Visitation: Saturday, 9:30 -10:30am, at Notre Dame De Lourdes Church. Burial: Private.
