Mrs. Richard Abbott, wife of Richard Abbott of Wolhurst, died last Thursday after a short illness of four days. Mrs. Abbott was born at Hanover, Illinois, Dec 29 1880. She moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, June 17, 1897 at which place she was married to Mr. Abbott. To this union were born six children, all of whom survive her. She is also survived by her husband, one sister and two brothers.
The funeral was held from the Nickel Chapel Sunday afternoon December 10 and the interment was at Littleton Cemetery.
In behalf of the entire community the Independent extends its deepest sympathy to the members of the family who are left to mourn her untimely departure.
