Appearing in the "Norwalk Daily Reflector", 19 Oct 1886, Page 4, Column 3, "The Cleveland Leader of Saturday, makes mention of the death the day before, at 4p.m., of Mrs. Kate, wife of William Benedict, aged 58 years. Our people will remember the deceased, she having lived here several years, her husband, William Benedict, for a number of years being a trusted employee of the Lake Shore road, occupying the position of foreman of the blacksmith shop. Mrs. Benedict was an estimable lady and her many friends in this city will be pained to hear of her demise."
