Estelle was a giving person, who supported many organizations and those needing help. She was an avid gardener, who loved raising flowers. Estelle enjoyed reading, volunteering at school functions, and had been a den mother for many years. Estelle greatly loved her family and grandchildren.
Estelle is survived by her loving husband Jimmie Lee Springman of Muncie; five children, Linda Taylor (Don) of Whitmore Lake, MI, Steve Carroll (Ronetta) of McCordsville, David Carroll of Muncie, Daniel Carroll of Anderson, and Sherry Lake (Brian) of Yorktown; three step-children, Debbie Jo Springman of Muncie, Kathy Williams (Red) of Muncie, and Jimmy Springman (Maridelle) of Pigeon Forge, TN; twenty-three grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Threlkel (Lois) of Morgantown, KY., and C.M. Thelkel (Jenny) of Elkton, KY., several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Jerry O. Carroll, Jr., great-grandson Dillon Carroll, step-daughter Judy Ann Peterson, five sisters, and three brothers, also preceded her in death.
Funeral Services for Estelle will be held Saturday, June 8th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
