Mrs. L. S. Arbter Dies at Sevastopol

STURGEON BAY, Wis. -- Mrs. Louisa Strassmen Arbter, 79, route 3, died at her Sevastopol home early Sunday morning shortly after a heart attack. She had been ill several years.
Mrs. Arbter was born Oct. 12, 1872, in Manitowoc county and came to Door county in 1899.
She married the late Julius Arbter in 1895. He died in 1941.
Mrs. Arbter was a member of the Altar society of SS. Peter and. Paul Catholic church at Institute.
Surviving are five children Mrs. Rudolph Bochek and Frank of Sevastopol, John of Sturgeon Bay, Martin of Chicago and Francis Sloan of Chicago. Two children, Morris and Mrs. Antone Berns preceded their mother in death.
Also surviving are two brothers, William and Ben Strassmen of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Jacob Spieztel of Manitowoc County, 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
The body was to be taken to the residence late this afternoon, where the rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight and Tuesday evening. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 Wednesday morning at the residence and at SS. Peter and Paul church. The Rev. Charles Kaminski will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
