Keith H. Nason, 87, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Highland Park Care Center.
He was born north of Alliance in his grandparent's home on May 10, 1926 to Ralph and Emma (Kline) Nason.
Keith served in the U.S. Army at the end of WWII. He then returned home and was a lifelong area farmer. He was a member of the First Christian Church and the American Legion. Being an avid gun collector, he was a life member of the N.R.A. and a past member of the Alliance Rifle Club.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Ben Nason of Alliance, Beth (Bob) Emrick of Ozark, MO, George (Mary) Nason of North Platte and Ruth (Maynard) Edgar of Galena, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his faithful dog, Tucker.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law, Dorothy Nason.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 8 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel with Reverend Jim Rowe officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the Alliance Cemetery.
