Mrs. Ada F. Zellers Dies At Winamac After Short Illness
WINAMAC — Mrs. Ada Frances Zellers, 68, of 526 North Hathaway street, died at 3:30 a.m. Saturday in her home, following a short illness.
A lifetime resident of Winamac, she was born here Feb. 9, 1889, to Edward F. and Mary Ellen Lowry Doyle. She was married June 8, 1907 to Alvin Zellers, who survives.
Mrs. Zellers was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary,
the W.B.A., and the Presbyterian church.
Surviving besides the husband are a son, Robert, Winamac;
daughters, Mrs. Ella Frances Bortell, Knox, and Mrs. Ada Harriett May, Dayton, Ohio; sisters, Mrs. Elsie Wagerman and Mrs. Alma Zanger, both of Winamac, and Mrs. Marguerite Larling, Shelbyville; a brother, Charles Doyle, Winamac; and six grandchildren.
Frends may call at the Fry and Lange funeral home, where services will be at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. C.D. Barringer will officiate. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
