Flossie married second John Williamson of the Gum Log community. She and John had a son, Billy, born in 1941. She was our Aunt by marriage, but we always referred to her as "Aunt Flossie." She was warm and friendly to us. She and our maternal grandmother, Mae Messer Williamson, who was Aunt Flossie's sister-in-law, were great friends and spent a lot of time together.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Katherine Henderson Martin and Rev. R.L. Martin, and by her son, Billy.
