Robert Bland Beverley, 75 president of the Bank of Essex, died Thursday night at his home at Blandfield. A native of Fauquier County, he was the founder and first president of the Esses County Ruritan Club. Since 1936 he served as chairman of the Essex County Welfare Board. He was a Vestryman of St. Anne's Parish and has served as treasurer and warden for Vauders Episcopal Church. He was survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Welby Carter Beverley and a son Alexander Carter Beverley. Then Northern Neck News 1957
