Graveside services for Mrs. Kathy Lynn Buchanan, 58, of Longview, Texas, formerly of Kilgore, Texas, will be held at the Kilgore Cemetery. Mrs. Buchanan passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in Longview, Texas.
Kathy was born October 17, 1954 in Germany.
Kathy enjoyed reading, cooking and a good cup of hot tea.She will be remembered as opinionated and as a jokester.Kathy was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker.
She is survived by her four children John Burton Buchanan of Longview, Alva Wayne Buchanan, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia, William Anthony Buchanan of Longview and Kassie Lynn Kershner of Hallsville; six grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and husband Alva Wayne Buchanan, Sr.
