Funeral Services will be held Thursday May 30, 2013 at 10 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at noon in Beaufort National Cemetery.
He was born February 9, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pa., son of Wingate and Charlotte Williams Baldwin. He served his country with honor in the U.S. Marine Corps retiring as a GySgt. after 26 years of service. He was Past Master of Port Royal Masonic Lodge; he was a member of South Carolina State Guard, Beaufort Police Department and was a crossing guard for over 20 years.
