Joey Anderson, 25, Springfield, died suddenly in his home June 4, 2013, with his wife, Beka, at his side. He was born April 7, 1988, in Fresno, Calif. Joey was employed at American Glass Company in Springfield. Joey is survived by his wife of two years, Rebekah “Beka” (Copeland) Anderson; maternal grandparents that raised Joey, Jim and Margie Watters; an aunt, Carla Smith; mother, Barbara Smith; his father, Lee Anderson; paternal grandmother, Lori Peterson; brothers, Clark, Alex, Philemon, and Timmy Petrochilos, and Vincent Wallace; sisters, Ashley Anderson, Elizabeth Petrochilos, and Lela Wallace; an uncle, Rick Smith; cousins, Nick Smith, Scott Futrell, and Christina Futrell Meadows; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Debi Baker; and many friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the “Joey Anderson Memorial Fund,” which will be used for “Caiden’s Crusaders for Cystic Fibrosis” and can be left at the funeral home, or at any Empire Bank.
