Mrs. Doris M. Milliron, 79, of 128 E. Nashannock Ave., New Wilmington passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013 in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital at 11:37 am.
Mrs. Milliron was born on December 3, 1933 in New Kensington to the late John Beale and Etta Smith Beale Betts. She had graduated from the New Ken High School in New Kesington with the class of 1952. Doris was Presbyterian by faith, and loved visiting with her family and friends.
Doris is survived by one daughter, Michelle (Tom) Hall of Pulaski, four sons, Eugene (Anna) Milliron of Ohio, Donald Milliron of Pittsburgh, Richard Milliron of Florida, & Dennis (Kimberly) Milliron of New Castle, nine grandchildren, Sarah, Brad, Justin, Rachel, Kelsey, Heather, Kurtis, Michael, & Brian, and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Joseph (Janice) Betts of Florida, one sister, Judith (Ernie) Betts of California, and her extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father Joseph Betts, Sr., her husband Donald L. Milliron whom she married on December 1, 1952 and passed away on January 23, 1980, and her two grandsons, Sean Milliron & BJ.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-7 pm and on Monday from 11-Noon in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc.
Services for Mrs. Milliron will be held on Monday at Noon in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. With Pastor Michael Continenza officiating. Interment will follow at the Riverview Cemetery in Apollo, Pa.
