He was born in Grant County to the late James Oliver and Bertha (Waggoner) Rennaker. He was a 1931 graduate of Jackson Township High School, where he played basketball. He married Mildred Miller on Aug. 10, 1933. She survives.

He retired from Dana in 1974 after 23 years. He previously had farmed and worked at Vic's Car Service. He was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church, Somerset, where he was very involved and had fried the bacon at Easter Sunday Breakfast for 51 years.

He was an avid bowler, bowling on leagues until November 2004. He was a former member of Circle G Saddle Club and a longtime member of Marion Horseshoe Club.

Additional surviviors include son, Terry Lee (Flo) Rennaker, North Wilksboro, N.C.; son-in-law, Donald Weaver, Wabash; sister-in-law, Betty Rennaker, Lansing, Mich.; grandchildren, Ray (Carolyn) Weaver, Peru, Amanda Sue Weaver, Wabash, Trisha (Brian) Garner, Biloxi, Miss., and Kevin Rennaker, Marion; stepgrandchildren, Eddie (Lisa) Blynn and Kris (Randy) Tuterow, both of Marion, and Shannon (Mitchell) Jones, Shirley, Ark.; and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Weaver; brothers, Amos, Raymond, Earl, Ed and Ralph Rennaker; sister, Nellie Humphries.
