Nora A. Boyer, the daughter of Louis Calvin and Ada S. Wilson Boyer, was born 06 March 1905 in Missouri and died in March of 1987 in Smithfield, Fulton County, Illinois. She married Milton Andrew Brooks and had two sons. They are:
1. Milton Andrew, Junior (1922-2007).
2. Gale L. (1926-2004).

Nora was the youngest child of seven children. Her siblings were:
1. Arthur E. (1888-).
2. Minnie (1890-).
3. Anna (1893-).
4. Alma Nevada (1897-1917).
5. Amy Rachel (1898-1977).
6. Edith L. (1901-).

In the 1910 US Census, she was living in Franklin, Miller County, Missouri and able to read, write and speak English. In the 1930 US Census, she was living in Haw Creek Morgan County, Missouri, married at 16 years old. In the 1940 US Census, she moved to Harris, Fulton County, Illinois and working as an unpaid family worker. She finished the 7th grade.
