PARDINI, Albert Louis


Albert Louis Pardini passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on October 5, 2004. Al was the sixth child of Amadeo and Venancina Pardini of Woodland, California. He graduated from Woodland High School and excelled in baseball and track and field. He fought with the 11th Armored Division in World War II, where he participated in the Battle of the Bulge and the liberation of the Mauthausen concentration camp. Al spent most of his working years as an insurance adjuster founding his own firm in Sacramento, Sierra Claims. In his younger years, Al was an avid fisherman and hunter. Later, he enjoyed golf, bridge, traveling with the love of his life, Marie, and spending time with his many close friends. Al is survived by his wife, Marie, of Sacramento, his son Richard, of Muskegon, Michigan, his grandson, Merritt, of Emerson, New Jersey, his stepdaughter, Alicia Abels, of Sacramento, nephews John Small of Elk Grove, Edward Pardini of Falls Church, Virginia and grand nephews John Small of Elk Grove and David Small of Sacramento. Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 9 at 11 AM at Harry A. Nauman & Son Land Park Chapel, 4041 Freeport Boulevard, Sacramento.
