ARVLE KERRY KEITH

Arvle Kerry Keith, 81, of Lovington, went to be with his Savior Monday, Dec. 17, 2007. He was born in Los Corner, Ark., on July 28, 1926, to Virgil O. Keith and Alice Furr Keith.
He served in the U.S. Air Fore as an aircraft mechanic, later worked as an auto mechanic until retirement. He was a commercial pilot who flew a crop duster in Arizona, as well as the Civil Air Patrol.
He married Ethel Duvall on Dec. 23, 1947, in Arizona. They raised five children. He is survived by his wife, Ethel, of the home, son, Virgil Keith and wife, Debra of Denver City, Texas; daughter, Ina Able and husband, Wesley of Carlsbad; son, Randy Keith and wife, Sheila of Parma, Idaho; daughter, Judy Nepsa and husband, Mike of California; daughter-in-law, Karen Keith of Grandfalls, Texas; one brother, William Keith and wife, Beth of Deming; one sister, Wilma Jean Bellamy and husband, Howard of Harrison, Ark.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both parents; one sister, five brothers; and a son, Donald Keith.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Key Church of God, 401 S. Fourth Street in Lovington, with burial to follow at 2 p.m. at Carlsbad Cemetery.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to www.kirby-smithrogers.com.
