Born in Canton, Ohio, he moved to Central Florida in 1957. He was a member of Winter Park Presbyterian Church. He was past president of Home Builders Association of Mid-Florida and foreman of American Bridge of Disney World. Survivors: wife, Carleen, Longwood; daughter, Darcy Hunter, Temple Terrace; sons, Daniel, Apopka, Jay, Orlando, Richard, Winter Park; brother, Dr. Marling, Cocoa Beach; four grandchildren.
