TUNICA Carl Edward Abney, 74, a farmer, died of heart failure Monday at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.
Graveside services are 2 p.m. today in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg. Fisher-Riles Funeral Home in Vicksburg is handling arrangements.
Mr. Abney was a native of Sylacauga, Ala., and had lived most of his life in Vicksburg and Water Valley. He was a member of Church of God.
Survivors include: sister, Eugenia Schu of Tomball, Texas.
