Mrs. Taylor was a long-term Washington County resident. She was the daughter of the late Judson Stephens and Bessie Hayes Taylor.
Mrs. Taylor was a former employee of Interstate Foundry. She was a member of Princeton Presbyterian Church, where she served in numerous capacities.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Taylor in 1998 and two sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include: One son, Jeffrey K. Taylor of Great Falls, Va., one daughter, Lisa T. Lyon of Naperville, IL. Five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home in Johnson City. A funeral service will be held immediately thereafter with Rev. Bill Goforth officiating.
Pallbearers are Edward Henley, Lanny Henley, Mark Henley, Scott Henley, David McNees and J.W. Shew, Jr.
Interment will follow at Monte Vista Burial Park.
