DIES IN HOME OF DAUGHTER IN OTTAWA;
RITES TO BE HERE WEDNESDAY

William Frederick Hermann, 86, a Streator resident for many years, died at 8 o'clock this morning in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert (Ruth) Beers at 1214 Catherine St., Ottawa where he had been making his home.
The body was taken to the Winterrowd funeral home where friends may call this evening. The funeral will be held from the Home at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon to the First Methodist church where services will start at 2 0'clock. Officiating will be Rev. Merle Hall of the Ottawa Methodist church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery (error--Hillcrest Memorial Park).
The deceased was born May 13, 1871 in Burlington, Iowa.
He was united in marriage with Edith Crocker who died in 1951 (error-1953).
He was a retired plumber and a member of the Plumbers Local 81. Mr. Hermann was affiliated with the Methodist church. (Actually he was a life long member of the Methodist church.
In addition to his daughter, he is survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and son, Kenneth, who resided here in Streator.
