JOSE ARTEMIO ACOSTA JR. SAN JUAN - Jose Artemio Acosta, Jr., 48, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Mr. Acosta was born in Wauseon, Ohio and had lived in San Juan all of his life.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Acosta, Sr.

Mr. Acosta is survived by his wife, Jennifer Acosta; a son, Joseph Cody Acosta; his mother, Carmen (Jesus) Solis all of San Juan; two sisters, Amanda (Ruben Scott) Coronado of San Juan and Adriana (Reymundo) Carr of Mission.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, June 13, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral Service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
