Willie B. Rogers-Burger Lapeer Willie B. Rogers-Burger, 91, of Lapeer (formerly of Flint and Ada) passed away Tuesday (December 18, 2007). She was born December 30, 1915, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., to Charles and Flossie (Kilpatrick) Davis. She married Horrald Rogers. He preceded her in death. She then married Ernest Burger. Mrs. Rogers-Burger was a member of the Lapeer Church of the Nazarene. Willie resided at Devonshire Retirement Village in Lapeer for the last 2-1/2 years. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Bernice (Les) Kirby of Metamora; daughter-in-law, Dorris Rogers of St. David, Ariz.; sister, Edna Hall of Leachville, Ark.; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 37 years, Horrald E. Rogers; second husband of 20 years, Ernest Burger; son, Harrold J. Rogers; infant son, Jimmy Dale Rogers; 5 brothers; 3 sisters; parents, Richard and
Flossie Davis. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Association. Funeral services were held Thursday (December 20, 2007) at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Rev. Andrew Jolly officiated. Burial will be at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Arrangements made by Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer, (810) 664-8111.
