Mr. Larry D. Buckley, Sr., entered into rest on February 21, 1984, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Peoples Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Emma Buckley of Augusta, Ga.; daughter India Buckley, son Larry D. Buckley, Jr., and step-son Labert Twiggs, all of Augusta; mother Mrs. Billie Buckley of Tulsa; mother-in-law Mrs. Bessie Twiggs and father-in-law Mr. Twiggs of Augusta; five sisters; four brothers; and nieces,nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

The funeral for Larry D. Buckley, Sr., 26, who died Feb. 21, will be at 4 p.m. today at Peoples Funeral Home with the Rev. H.B. Bady officiating. Burial will be in Walker Memorial Park.

Larry Buckley had only been driving a cab for a couple of months when he picked up a passenger at the Tulsa International Airport on Feb. 20, 1984. Mr. Buckley's body was found the next day.
The killer was executed for this murder on July 8, 1999. He was also serving three consecutive life sentences for the murders of barmaid Patricia Frei, 23, from Santa Clara UT, and customers Robert Bull, 33, of Cedar City UT, and Ronald B. Schmid, 24, of Idaho Falls ID, on Valentine's Day 1984 at the Playhouse bar in Cedar City.
Mr. Buckley was a U.S. Army veteran.
