Bernice Grace Duff
Bernice Grace Duff, 88, of Greenfield died Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Health and Care Rehab and Nursing of Greenfield.
She was born October 17, 1919, in Ross County, the daughter of James Beath and Iva Skeen Beath.
She was a secretary and worked last at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro. She loved gardening and her flowers. She was a member of the Elite Club of Greenfield, Presbyterian Women, Hillsboro Garden Club and the Hillsboro Eastern Star Chapter 441. She was also a member of the Presbyterian Church of Greenfield.
She is survived by one daughter, Ruth Anna Duff of Greenfield; three sisters-in-law, Janice Beath of Danville, Sue Duff of Greenfield and Edna Duff of Greenfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard Allen Duff on May 19, 1990, six brothers, Homer Beath, Howard Beath, Herbert Beath, Harold Beath, Virgil Beath and Verlin Beath; one sister, Evelyn Shinkle and both parents.
Services will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at 3 P.M. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with the Rev. Clint Tolbert officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday with Eastern Star services at 7:45 P.M. performed by Chapter 441 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Women stove fund, 457 Jefferson St., Greenfield, Ohio 45123 or to the Tricia Duff Scholarship c/o Brenda Woods, 237 Childs St., Greenfield.
