Samuel J. Webb, 49, of Duryea, passed away peacefully at home Thursday evening, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Carbondale on October 24, 1963, he was a son of Bryon T. Webb Sr., Waymart, and the late Patricia (Gilhooley) Webb.
Sam graduated from Pittston Area High School and Wilkes-Barre Vo-Tech in 1981 and worked at NEPA Carton and Carrier Co, Moosic for over 24 years.
An avid outdoors man, he enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and target shooting with his daughter.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, MaryAnn Webb and a brother, Joseph Webb.
In addition to his father surviving are his wife of 21 years, Beverly (Legg) Webb, a daughter, Victoria M. Webb, Shickshinny, a stepson, Matthew Millard, Scranton, 2 brothers, Byron T. Jr. and Martin J. Webb, both of Taylor, a sister, Deborah Capwell, Pittston Twp., numerous nieces and nephews.
