Nan Johnson 72 of Friona, formerly of Muleshoe died Friday June 14, 2013 in Friona. Funeral Services have been scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Monday June 17, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church in Friona with Rev. Bobby Brouhgton, officiating. Burial at 2:00 P.M. in the Muleshoe Memorial Park in Muleshoe. Arrangements by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona.
Nan was born July 21, 1940 in Hagerman, N.M. to Oscar and Sammy McKinstry Allison. She was a longtime Muleshoe resident. She graduated from Muleshoe High School, received her Masters Degree and became a school teacher. She married L. T. Johnson in 1986. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Muleshoe.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Survivors include 1 daughter-Alison Broughton and husband Bobby of Muleshoe, 1 son-Greg Pool of Plainview, 2 brothers-Sam Allison and wife Kathy of Amarillo, and Mack Allison and wife Kay of Enid, Oklahoma and 1 sister-Susan Black of Dumas.
