William Franklin "Bill" PFUNDT, born 15 January 1926 in the city of Saint Louis, Missouri, was the son of William Reinhold Pfundt 1896 - 1963) and his wife, Violet Mabel Aitken Pfundt ( 1902 - 1998). His given name is actually, William Franklin Robert.
Bill attended Bruder Elementary School (5319 Lansdowne Avenue) and Southwest High School (3125 S. Kingshighway), graduating in 1944. After his High School years, he attended Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana in 1945 and 1946. Beginning in 1946, Bill worked in the yeast plant of Annheuser-Busch Brewery in St. Louis for 41 years. He retired in July 1987. Bill's hobbies included model trains, bowling, and candle-making.
On the 2nd day of January 1951, in Fairfax, Gregory County, South Dakota Bill was married to Ruth Esther Teske. This marriage was blessed with 3 children; William Franklin, Jr., Linda Suzanne and David Matthew.
