The loving, beautiful and creative spirit of Denise Joann Gentry left her earthly body to become one with God and his incredible universe. She will indeed be missed, but following the brave example she set in her
battle with cancer, gives hope and encouragement to all in expressing her sincere wish that her passing would not cause feelings of unnecessary pain or suffering, but instead, her memory will bring continual joy and love to all who have known and loved her in this life. Even in the hardest days of her journey, she never wavered, always giving thanks to God for her life and expressing her love for everyone.

As a wife and mother she gave, and continues to give her undying love, heart and soul to her husband and soulmate, Robert Gentry, and beautiful children, Elisabeth Anne Gentry, Ellis Scott Gentry and Eric Justin Wright.

Denise was preceded in passing by her mother, Doris Boessler/Aiken, who was born in Dramstadt, Germany. She is survived by her father,William F. Aiken of Flint, and sisters, Diane Gatewood of Tyler and Sharon Follis of Denton.
Her remains were cremated and a personal family memorial established in her home.

A celebration of her life was held Sunday afternoon, Nov. 16, at Grace Community Church auditorium, Tyler, Texas.enton.
