Herb is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sadie Carithers of Raymond; children, Charles H. Carithers, Jr. of Oxford and Patricia C. Williams of Raymond; grandchildren, Troy S. Williams of Raymond; C. Todd Williams of Pittsburgh, PA; and Heather Cherie' Carithers of Hattiesburg; siblings, William Carithers of CA and Betty Lucille Hall of LA; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, June 17, 2013 at 11am from the chapel of Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd., Jackson, MS, 39209. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery.
