ARCOLA -- Mrs. Lawrence (Phyllis E. Welch) Bennett, 70, of Arcola died 10:30 a.m. Monday (Feb. 15, 1988) in her home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Schrader Funeral Home, Arcola, with visitation 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Arcola Cemetery.
Mrs. Bennett was born in Douglas County, daughter of George and Anna Welch. She was a secretary for U.S.I. for 20 years and a member of the Arcola United Methodist Church. She married Lawrence Bennett. He died in 1984.
Surviving are her daughter, Sharon Yoder of Champaign; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
