James Harold "Jim" Kellum, 68, was the son of James Larmar and Alma Pearl Blantom Kellum. He was a member and deacon of the First Christian Church in Baldwyn. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a retired grocery store manager. He enjoyed fishing, working in his yard and reading his Bible.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Rose Franzen Kellum, whom he married April 2, 1956; three sons, David Kellum and wife, Gail, and Mark Kellum and wife, Loretta, all of Booneville, and Paul Kellum and wife, Sharron, of Nettleton; two daughters, Lydia Kellum Storey and husband, Tommy, of New Site and Mary Kellum of Booneville; three brothers, Marvin Kellum and wife, Mary Ellen, of Brewer, Jimmy Kellum and wife, Peggy, of Columbus, and Donnie Kellum and wife, Denise, of Starkville; a sister, Geneva Green of Columbus; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

Services were at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Caraway and Bro. Tom Thomas officiating. Burial was in Prentiss Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers were Marty Kellum, Jeff Kellum, Eddie Kellum, Rhett Barnes, Jamie Barnes and Roger Barnett.


Honorary pallbearers were Steve Helton, Wesley Spencer, Sidney Duncan, and the elders and deacons of the First Christian Church of Baldwyn.
