ALDREDGE, Thelma Lawrence, 89, of Lexington, formerly of Roanoke passed away Wednesday, February 3, 1999. She was the widow of Alonzo W. Aldredge, a former employee of the American Viscose Corp., and a member of Belmont United Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis A. and William G. Scott, Pulaski, Va., Constance A. and Robert A. Webb, Lexington, Va.; sons and daughters-in-law, William L. and Carolyn J. Aldredge, Decatur, Ala., Douglas W. and Nancy H. Aldredge, Jefferson City, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Roberta L. Oliver, Vinton, Va.
Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel 10 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 1999 with the Rev. J. Brad Langdon officiating. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel where the family will receive friends Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
